Despite being around since 2002, there's still plenty of changes happening on a regular basis. Each month we plan to give you an insight into some of the activities going on behind the scenes at Leather Delights.
April Plans
So what do we have planned for April 2022? Well, it definitely doesn't look like much when I write it down, but there's quite a bit of work going on behind the scenes to make it happen! Firstly and foremost we'll be at our two regular markets this month, I'll provide dates of these at the bottom of this post, but you'll find more information about them on our events page.
We also have a couple of product launches planned for the website. Recently we were able to source rabbit fur in a variety of colours, and now we're really looking forward to be able to bring those to our website.
One thing I'm really keen on is continuous improvement, every item we make can be made better, be that better quality or made in a more efficient or consistent way. The last few weeks I've been exploring ways to ink our straps quicker, for us this is where we spend a lot of time making these products. Maybe I'll give a before and after demonstration at some point.
On the subject of continuous improvement, over the years our lifetime guarantee has helped us iterate our product design. So, if you ever have a problem with an item you've purchased from us, please do get in touch. We'll rectify the problem for you, and it might even help us improve the item for future customers.
March Review
March was a very interesting month for us. We spent a lot of time with Ben at So Very Creative. Ben has helped identify some areas we can improve our online presence, and it was actually thanks to a presentation organised by Ben that we saw the value in starting a blog!
It was also from one of our conversations with Ben that led us to adding product reviews to our website. So now, 3 days after you place your order we'll send you an email inviting you to leave a review, if you include a photo or video with that review then we'll give you a 10% discount code to use with your next purchase from us! Please be as honest as you like in these reviews, if we don't know about a problem then we can't address it.
Essentially, Ben has kept us very busy with ideas on how we can tinker with the website, so a massive thanks to him for his help.
One thing I discovered whilst sorting out our Google Drive was that we have thousands of product photos that have never been shared. Every Thursday we'll be posting one of these photos from the archive in a #throwbackthursday post on social media. Most of these will have been one off items, and if anything it will highlight how limited our range is online. Coming to one of the events listed below really is a great opportunity to speak to us and touch our products before you buy them.
